Post Anyone know of an emulator?

I have a PlayStation 2 and I feed the video signal into a TV tuner and watch the game on my monitor. Since I recently got a DVD drive, I figured that it would be convenient (and possibly better looking) to play the games directly on my computer. Does anyone know of a good PlayStation 2 emulator?

http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/ps2/ has a couple, I'm about to try them out and I'll tell you pros/cons. Emulators are cake to find, it's the roms that are hidden away like national security documents.

That's okay, I don't need ROMs, I plan to use legit PlayStation 2 game DVDs.

Yeah I'd go with E-Zone. A couple of my friends are like you and they seemed pleased at the results.

Emulators still don't compare to using the real thing, though.

i really dont recommend using emulator in your computer to use ps2 games... you ware out your dvd player, unless you dont mind spending another hundred bucks to buy another dvd rom....same thing with the dreamcast, you can actually play nes, snes, gen, and playstation games (ps1) in your dcast, but the fault there is that you over use the dcast and , would brake in about 4 to 5 months, i only play the nes games in the dcast because the memory in any of those games are very low........just a thought !!!
