Post Video card question

Ok some AGP cards are 4x AGP and soem are 8xAGP.....what does this mean? How do i find out what my AGP slot is? 4x or 8x?

How old is your comp? That's the answer, pretty much. AGP 8x is basically the 'cap' that AGP will reach before they make a new version.

But if i buy an AGP 8x and my slot is AGP 4x will it work?

The card will only run at 4x, but yes it will work.

What's your motherboard name? How old is the comp? Is it a premade comp with a brand and model name? I'll look it up.

The yahoo thing won't work for me because it's based on cookies.

However, the Geforce 4 MX is *WORTHLESS* and should be AVOIDED at all costs. It's just a fancy Geforce 2.
