Devil May Cry 1 or 2?

I've never played either one, but since half the people in this thread have biased opinions I figure I'd say that they both suck!

If you have a playstation 2 it would be a good idea to rent the first one. Then you could buy it if you liked it.

Those games do not suck. Maybe the 2nd game does but i wouldn't know cuz i never played it but i know i like the first game. It is only good if u like adventure type games with RPG elements mixed with a little Resident Evil style items and weapons.

RPG elements in Devil May Cry...? You mean... the using Red Orbs to buy items and moves?

Like I've said... two isn't worth playing, it does nothing but ruin the image of Dante, and ruin the series.

The Red Orbs thing isn't RPG related, for the love of christ, "pimpiroth". Arg! I've had enough of this sort of bullshit!!

Matt never said that it was the red orbs that gave it RPG elements. If anything the blue orbs make it more like an RPG and the fact you can save up red orbs to buy abilities.
