...For what version of RPG Maker? And what kinds of sprites? Battle charsets (RM2k3), Battlers (RMXP), Charsets (RM2k3, RMXP), Facesets (RM2k3), Weaponsets (RM2k3), pretty much every resource that's not music is a sprite of some sort, and each is pretty much unique to the version of RPG Maker (with a few exceptions).
Because I have no idea what you're looking for, I'll just throw out the standard links:
I think I've got some FF7 rips somewhere in my rm2k3 rtp. I'll put them into rmxp format for you some time soon.
I've just found them...and they're FF6. Is FF6 OK? Or do you want to be stubborn with Lenny again?
Right, I've got some ff7 rips. I have editted them for rmxp, to see how to put them in, just look at one of evilleprechauns posts that I have answered. The one about NPC's I think. It says how to import them there.
oh. wait. the characters have green behind them, plus when i select them it changes them back to the other person when i close it. Help pls.
OK, I will tell you what I told EvilLeprechaun:
Go into rmxp, and import them into the Character folder (click the icon to the right of the database icon, or press F10), it will ask you to set the transparent colour, choose the background of the sprites (e.g if the colour behind the sprites is green, then LEFT click somewhere on the green). Leave the translucent colour blank. Press the clear button next to it if you want to make sure it is blank. Your sprites should then work. All you need to do is choose them for your characters in the database. Make sure when you have set them as the characters in the databse, you press APPLY. That might be why it keeps on reverting back to the originals. If you cannot see the apply button then hide your start bar.
Are you hitting the OK button at the lower right? If the first thing you think is "There is no OK button!" then you need to bump up your screen resolution. Right-click on the Windows desktop, choose Properties, and then hit the Settings tab.
I bumped up mine from 1024x768 to 1152x864 just to work in RPG Maker XP. If you want to go even further and mess around with scripts, you're going to have to go to 1280x1024..
Yeah, I have no idea why they're requiring such a high resolution, either.
You do not read things do you Dom? What did Lenny say in his last post? Hmmm...by the way. Why is your icon the; story/rpg game - check it out; icon? What happened to the reading of the rules? Hmph, young people of today, and don't you dare give me all of this rubbish about you having your birthday 2 days ago, and me not having mine for another 3 months. Anyway, I've just said it. Now then...this is a bit off subject, no? I'll shutup I think.
