I remember a few winters ago raleigh had like a foot of ice on the roads and like 2 feet of snow if I recall correctly.

Where I live it snows maybe a few inches at most.
a foot of ice is generally impossible its never happened in that amount of volume

Lot of ice everywhere is very destructive. Like the ice storm that hit Quebec and a part of Ontario in 1998.

Over 40% of the electricity network blew up. over 500 000 building didnt have electricity and for lot of them it wasnt for 3-5 day lot of ppl lost electricity for 15 days+. It's a long time without heat during winter !

Some tree fighting to survive.

While most would just shatter by the wght of ice.

Electricity Tower Shattering because they cant take the wght of ice any longer.

PPL prevented from using their phone.

Ice wouldnt take long to mass up on any vehicule.

Anyway, this was quite destructive and dangerous but i had great fun.

We don't get much snow here in Knoxville because of the goddamned Cumberland Plateau.

Sov. This wasnt a Snow Storm ! We get at least once Snow Storm a year in Quebec.

It was a Ice Storm and knowing you, there is no way you would survive. From what you tell me a day without comp is to much for you to handle. Now imagine at least 15.

No snow yet, just rain. Massive amounts of rain.. Flooding and everything, but I live up on a hill about 4-5 miles away from where the flooding occured, so lucky me.. (Pennsylvania, USA)

I dislike being out in the snow. It's way too cold. But it's pretty to look at, so I'd rather stay inside sipping hot cocoa and watching it.

We got around 3 inches of snow yesturday. And Lake Michigan had a gale warning. 12 foot waves. w00.
