I mean Halo is a really awsome game but In my book it is in 2nd or 3rd against Golden Eye...

TimeSplitters 2 is decent, it's like Goldeneye on Cocaine.

Goldeneye really was great.

Counterstrike is in a league all by itself.

I liked Super Smash Bros over melee simply because they gimped Mario a bit in Melee, and he was my character of choice in the old one. Still, the Super Smash games are the funnest to play with a few friends.

Mario Party really isn't too bad. If you have some good competition, it's really quite fun.

I detested Halo. I don't know if it's because of the dual-analog controls or because I'm not particularly fond of the Xbox or... I'ono. I was playing Counterstrike probably two years before Halo came out, so it was no big shit to me. CS pwns it.

If you mean ANY mulltiplayer game I would have to put my vote in for Super Dodge Ball on NES. All you old school gamers know what I am talking about.

The Neogeo remake wasn't bad, either. Dodgeball Advance for the GBA's also fun.

My favorite is Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1 and 2 for Gamecube,then Mario Kart Double Dash,then Super Smash Bothers Melee.
