Why does it matter to you anyways? You are DEAD. So who cares who gets your money, if you really wanted soemone to have it, it would be in your will. Unless of course your death was untimely and when you were young, but then let's go to the first point again; fuck it, who cares, you are dead anyways.

I don't know about you, but I'd want my money to go to someone I know who could genuinely use it, rather than Big Brother who would just use it to make more M-16 rounds...

Same here, only my brother would waste it on DVD's, as that is where most of his income is squandered. I wish he was more conservative, rather than spending over $500 on movies.

I'd rather donate to making my brother happy than the government.

Of course that would be wise. I think you are right, but still I would want him to save so he can actually start on something after he's through with college (he's a sophomore in college). Oh well, soon he will find out that life is a bitch...

From what I'm aware of, the government does not tax your savings or anything when you die. I'm pretty sure only when you claim your inheritence that you will be hit with inheritence tax. Which is how the rockefeller family is still pretty rich, but when they claim their inheritence it gets taxed. Not too sure if that made much sense.

When my mother died, my siblings and I got $10,000 each (Minus my older sister, since we had no idea where she was at the time, or if she were even alive). My younger sister's and my share are currently being invested in some stocks. I have no clue what my brothers did with their share.

If I died and had kids, I'd want the money to be split up among my children. :T And if I didn't have kids...probably to my father and siblings.

Same, if my mom were to die my sister and I would get 250k each. Um... I think that's why they tell you to write a will even though you're in your early 30's. So, everyone on zel should write one, for FUN, and make sure to include your Zel name! TEEEEHEEEEE! *skips away*

Especially deaths can especcially fuck up a kids future. Like College or something. Social security gives you like 400 fucking dollars for funeral expenses and such, 400 fucking dollars. You can barely get a basic casket for that.

You people are acting like the government taxes so they can have money for themselves. Even if they tax you after your death, that money is going to schools for your kids and stuff. If everyone in the government got large amounts of money because of taxes we wouldn't have democrats.
