Well, there's already a new Castlevania game in development solely for the DS, so that question doesn't make much sense to me. I guess the best answer that I could give you is that it would take a lot more than just a new Castlevania game to make me want to buy a PSP. I already
own a PS2. I don't really need a portable one.
I intend to pick up a DS no matter what. It offers gaming possibilities that you simply can't get on another handheld
or on any home console. I
might pick up a PSP if they release a couple of truly awesome exclusive games on it, but I've already gone into detail
several times as to why that's not entirely likely.
And just to reiterate for everyone in this thread, the DS will
not cost $200. Walmart will most likely predict an MSRP of $400 for the PSP, and that's not going to happen either. That's a placeholder price, not the announced MSRP. Nintendo hasn't even
announced the MSRP, and they've bluntly stated that Walmart's estimate is not official. The real starting price will be announced before November, and it will be substantially less than $200.
