Have you ever seen that movie, The Talented Mr Ripley?

I've seen Ripley's Game...that's a good film. My parents won't let me watch The Talented Mr. Ripley for some strange reason. Apparently it's for the saem reason they won't let me read John Fowles "The Magus".

Woah man. Your parents need to take a reality check. Sit down and talk with them and explain, in an adult manner, about why you're mature and old enough to watch/read that shit.

I should be able to watch The Talented Mr. Ripley, it's a 15 and I'm 15. I've seen Ripley's Game and that's a 15 too.

But as for The Magus, I don't think my Mum wants me to read it at all. She says it's psychologically disturbing...and she's a Psychologist, she should know.
