Have the ATI video drivers gotten any better? Ever since I went dual monitor, I've gone Nvidia, because with ATI drivers, applications do strange things.

Only concerned with 1080p? I recently built a new computer for video editing, but played some DX:HR on it. It's a lot better than my other computer, but with default settings, it bogs down in spots at 2560x1600. Of course, I'm only running a GTX480, because that was the most expensive part and I was more concerned with Adobe Premiere support than game acceleration.
