Question Tilesets
Reply

im new to this prog so I dont know if this is possible. But i want to use more than one tileset on the same areamap. such as a world tileset and a town tileset. i dont know if you can combine those, because when you change back and forth, the tiles change to their respective set.

is it possible to keep them the same? or is it possible to make one big tileset with everything on it, if you can, how to do that?

thanks.

You can, but you must keep the same number of tiles in the tileset file.

You can combine them simply by copying a tile from one, into another. I use MSPaint, actually, and it works fine.

I really wish you could use more than 1 tileset on the same map though.

Heh, yeah, that'd be nice. By the way, there IS an edit button, try not to double-post.

I would think that, from Enterbrain's point of view, programming in the use of two tilesets would probably make the map data twice as large, since instead of tile "1" you'd need tile "1, 1"..
