Well since sum released our secrets...I guess I can send you here. Go ahead a look around at the features and other screenshots. It's going to kick ass.
I think it would work better if they offered advertising in the games to pay for the servers. Maybe the user had to click on a banner to play the game. This way, many younger people would be able to play the games (I find the $10 is not much of a problem for the older gamers). That way, the advertisers could pay lots of money for the banners since so many people would be playing. Just a suggestion.

Well I'd say the average mmorpg has about 2k people on multiple servers. So 10 dollars a month would be much more than clicking a banner once every few hours or more. I'll take daoc of example..it had atleast 10-15 servers ranging from 1-3k people on all of them.....sooo at the minimum 1000 people times 10 servers = a good load of money for them to update and maintain customer/ingame support. Besides, I'm sure people would click the banner once and leave the game open forever or make a bot for it so you wouldn't get kicked off by some idle timer.
There can be in-game popups or banners that the characters either are presented with at regular intervals (once an hour) or are placed on boards in common meeting areas. Also, advertisers don't know whether or not anyone uses a bot to click a banner. And, with each of those 10,000 to 45,000 users you estimate playing the game, can you imagine the amount the advertisers would pay for it?
How many people watch the Superbowl each year? I don't know. The Superbowl is only once a year. Many people play MMORPGs daily. I'm sure with come negotiation, it could be done.
