Yet most Iraqi's would rather have Saddam as their head of government rather than America. This has been proven plenty of times, one example being the Gallup Polls, a quite credible source.
This is not unprecedented. We have a tendency to do this. For instance, Americans believed they were making the native's lives better by introducing them to Christ. English believed that they were making the Americans better by having us under their jurisdiction. I've even heard quotes from people's journals that believed they were doing Africans favors by enslaving us. Bullshit. Unless the receiving party considers it a favor, I don't consider it a favor.
