Make sure you don't have the operating system left to default if... if... your company is giving you a copy of the corporate edition to use on your home PC.

It might need a flash, or you'll have to change the clock multiplier (sometimes they come at a low multiplier so don't be alarmed if it says it's at 1000 mhz)

The processing speed is determined by taking a multiplier (which has to do with your RAM too) and multiplying it by a certain number... for example 166 x 13.0 = 2158 Mhz. Sometimes they come set at a lower number, like 100. So it would be 100 x 13.0 = 1300 Mhz.

Fortunately, it seems that more recent bioses let you just select which proccessor you are using to set the bus clock and multiplier automatically, though you could still choose custom and set them yourself.
