Norton subscription expired. No need to buy 2003. I know if I uninstall completely and reinstall Norton, my subscription will renew. What do I have to remove beside the standard uninstall? (Already did a search for Norton and NAV in regedit, so that's not it)
Thanks

I've formated many times and re-installed Norton numerous times with no problems.....it just takes that bit longer to download all the virus definitions rather than the usual daily/weekly updating
That's the thing. You've formatted and reinstalled. I just uninstlled/reinstalled, and I can assure you, that it doesn't work. You have to remove either something in registry, or some other files, for it to not remember your subscription status. Someone please tell me what these files are so I don't have to format.

try using jv16 Power ToolsIt's a piece of software that uninstalls registry files and can perform numerous other operations. It is able to find any file on your system and you can delete them manuallly through the software. I've been using it for a while now....and its a free download.
