I hooked my X-Box online before Live existed, all you need to do is download a program form GameSpy, then hook up your PC and X-Box to a Hub, run the program, and its alll money. Only game they really play is Halo, but I'm sure it will pick up until the hackers find a way around the serial number check on X-Box Live.
