Post write Internet properly?

In order to write the word Internet properly, is the I in Internet suppose to be capitalized?

Nope, I looked it up at dictionary.com and none of their defenitions were capitalized.

dictionary.com also saids that iv is a legal word for literati... my microsoft word says that it's not legal...

what would make you think it had to be capitilized?
just alot of programs that involve the internet start with a captial to seem more profession

well, I guess it depends on how your using it. If your saying something like "I'm gonna go on the Internet" then I guess it should be, but if your saying "i need an internet program" then I guess it shouldnt be.

No its called Internet Explorer and not internet explorer, because its a name, which makes it proper to use capital letters.
