i think lvl85, arnt they?

Last I heard, the Pit's monsters are at LvL 85. So from what I understand, they can drop most items in the game but not all of them.

The so-called "pit" monsters or monsters in all "cave-like" dwellings in hell act 1 are lvl 82 but the important thing is the uber chest because all the cave-like dwellings have and area lvl of 85 - or so i've heard

Edit: Also, even on Arreat Summit it states that mlvl of Devilkin in Hell are 85...
