I'm a hardcore Final Fantasy fan (in the sense of I must own all Final Fantasy items)

It wasn't what I was hoping for. I don't know why I expected something similar to a FF game previously. Anyhow, did anyone else find it funny that there was a Sid?

Not really, it is a trademark of the Final Fantasy Series except for the title.

It just seems obvious to me that they were steering the movie away from, games to give it a more realistic look aswell. They could have named it something, but giving it a FF name would boost the box office hits.
