ive already calculated this b4 and it comes out to a caddy with +3 hs +3 concen +3 smite would be better than anything else, in damg terms by a few hundred, as in silence/other + max fanat u gain a more flexable weapon choice, the only thing that makes beast a bit better is cuz of the versatility to give concentration to others or in 1:1 keep on convition to use an foh advantage but you must be quick on hot keys.
simplified: not worth building your char around 1 item, cuz it makes you weaker to elemental attacks and such
best Smiter wep suggestion would probably be a rosebranded of quick, asterons, or if worst comes to very worst, use a goddamn lacerator; its very bm but that amp packs a wicked punch into smite; ive personally been usin a rosebranded warscep of quick berber 2hs 1 smite; works for me =)
