Eh, I don't think they are all that linear. I mean, you don't have to do the missions in any particular order. The only thing linear about it, is that you have to do just about all the missions, which is the same in any game. You have the freedom to go around town, kill shit, chase cars, do stunts, get a high police rating, call in prostitutes, do about 200 side missions, find Hidden Packages, which means intense roaming in the game. There is nothing linear about it, in my opinion.

If you like fast, intense games that give you the freedom of camera angles, movement, fighting ability, a wide variety of guns, missions, side missions, and a Tony Montana, Scar Face based type of game, you will love these. GTA made me a huge fan, and I honestly didn't think I would really like them.
