Missile Jazz (My flash game)
Reply
Posted 2004-09-22, 11:10 AM
Well, I got my hands on flash, and I've been poking around with it for a while now. Most of my C++/PHP skills apply somewhat well to ActionScript, it seems.

So far, it's just a cannon and some inbound rockets you need to defend your people from. I'll be adding arrow key features for easier aiming soon.

It's still kind of easy to just aim straight up. I'm going to attempt to add assault artilleries you need to bombard as well, if I can pull it off. And if you didn't notice, the power runs out faster depending on the force of the blast. It's easier to hit things with a 30N projectile as it pretty much goes in a straight line from the barrel in the designated direction, but in turn, it will drain your power quickly.

Good scores guys.

Oh, and feel free to suggest stuff. I'm going to put clouds in as wind indication for sure.

Of course not. Everything we do is pointless in the long run.

Thanks for the comments guys. Feel free to post suggestions for opponents to make the game more challenging.
