Please explain to me WHY the hell you can be 16 to buy a knife, but you have to be 17 to rent or see a rated R movie.
Please, please, please tell me why.
And why you can get the death penalty at 16, life in jail at 14, go to war at 18, but you can't even drink until you're 21. You can't vote until you're 18. You can't rent a car until you're 25. You can't get an R-rated movie until 17.
