Actually, they're fucking over the smaller privately-owned businesses who can't afford to drop their prices like that. It's a double-edged sword. You get CDs for less and the little guy pays the price.

Seriously, record companies will bend over backwards for WalMart, but if they can keep squeezing that extra money out of the smaller stores, they'll do it without hesitation.

Did you not read it? You're fucking over yourself. By buying from Wal-Mart, who has a very small selection of CDs, you put the specialty stores out of buisiness, who have as many as 12x more choices. In the end, you force the choices of Wal-Mart's product selection team upon yourself, because there will be noone to sell you anything else.

Dunno.... slightly less than 10$? Fuck I dunno.

But basically, Raziel and Wetwired are correct. Stupid people see this and say, "Wow Walmart is hitting that bastard Music Industry hard, and I can get cheap CD's!!!! MWUAHHAHAA!!!!" Smart people see this and say, "Wow, the little guy is getting dicked, and now I won't be able to find rarer CD's, especially orgasmically delicious live CD's."

Be like the smart people, don't shop at Walmart.

They're equivalent.

Is everyone still forgetting that you can just download any CD you want? I mean, It's not that hard to download a rare CD either...

I like downloading it, that way everyone loses!
