Whatever sounds good. We can go ahead and skip that first part, though. Everybody knows I'm a grammar whore.

He he he...what happened to grammar nazi???

----------

The game is still in the stage where we are writing the story...or at least, I know I am...you'll probably be waiting a few months at least before you have something to test, and even then, it will prob only be a demo.

I don't know how good you are at knowing a good RPG when you see it but...you could judge us on that...also, look at thread two. If you have any expertise in the field of party member attacks etc. (their classes - (taking FFX as an example) such as: Mage (Lulu), Healy person (to some extent Yuna), swordsman (Tidus and Auron), thief (Riku), big blue guy... - I can't think what our character should actually do (Kimarhi <-- come on grammar nazi, I'm sure I've spelt that wrong...)...and member 6...) then please help...

Well, next to compelling storyline, originality is always key in my books.

For example, I never liked Gau in FF6 because I thought he simply wasn't as useful or versatile as the other characters. I did, however, love how different from the norm he was. The same holds true for Relm.

If you're just looking for good suggestions, I'd say either a tamer with animals to attack or a builder that can make robots or something to battle for him.

These will all have to fit with your storyline, though. I say work on the characters, their backgrounds, and the storyline, and make their fighting styles come from that.

I'll read the other threads today and tonight. I don't think I have time to sit and read that much all at once at work.

Also, I've read a bit of that word document that you put up. If you want somebody to hit it for grammar and suggest rephrasings, I'm a damn good proofreader.

Please do check it. All of my friends know not to read anything I've written so they leave anything I write well alone......so I'm the only one who checks my things, and after writing into the early hours of the morning well, one can't proof read properly...and I find reading my own things kinda boring...

----------

The tamer idea I think will be good...I've been a thinking that the party meets up with some travelling thingy or other...and the tamer guy can be with this travelling thingy and ends up joining the party for a reason unbeknownst to us all...

Savagebob's role is co-programmer... though thats just a title... he hasn't done crap but draw that picture. And I don't mean to be rude to him, but I am kinda sore right now.......I FELL OFF HIS HOUSE!

EVERYONE! I used some color to get attention.... anyway.

I know we've been workin on this for a long time, and to tell the truth it is awesome to be a part of this. But my haitus from the game is foreshadowing... In about a week I shall upload my engine for the game along with several in-game note I have made. I need about a week to fine-tune it. I shall get on often to talk about it, but for now all you really need in the game is a scriptor. The engine is perfectly ready for someone to just plug-and-play so to speak.

But for now it is my deepest regret to resign... but I shall be here in spirit.

Edit: The reason I am resigning is because I have absolutely no clue what is going on... The story and plot and character choice has fallen through my fingers. I have no grasp of reality. *twitch* *twitch* *spasm*

Did you have something in mind for the story that isn't being done?
