Can the DS Catch up with PSP?

You're missing the point. The DS doesn't need to catch up. The PSP does. Nintendo is the current king of handhelds. Sony is the challenger.

PSP has already outsold in total sales than the DS.

DS Has no titles that anybody can get excited about coming up in the future, but for the PSP almost every game looks inviting.
