Playstation 3 UNVEILED

As Playstation's fanboy it is my right to defend the Playstation. I've read / heard rumors that he PS3 will have a dvd burner built into it, and TiVo like functions (run it through your cable/satellite).

I like the fact that you can hook up your Jump drive to it, theres a free memory card for transfers, and I believe it comes with a 20 gig hd, or maybe you can purchase it.

I agree that the design on the controller is overdone, but I guess they felt it was time for a change. The controller isn't really as big and clunky as it looks in the picture, it's just a little bit larger than the current controllers. (*Gotta put the size ratio into perspective).

The game line-up is all you need to know, (already posted), so that's what you have to choose from. Just go look at the Unreal game and the unreal engine they are going to use.....gonna be friggin' sweet.

Last I read they didnt know if killzone was ingame footage or not. If it is, very impressive. If it isnt, they need to show some.

I want to see a back and side view of the controller. I think it's not as bad as people say it will be. Surely they've tested the design alot and Sony wouldnt be that stupid to make a controller with which you cant play.

I like the design of the machine itself, the letters remind me of the font they used for the spiderman movies.

No I knew they were real time, just not so much as they weren't like what you see on commercials, it was actual gameplay.

I know...I've watched the conference twice...and downloaded all the videos...

I'm excited for all three systems, though the PS3 is overpowered. Hopefully it won't cost more than 500.

Overpowered??! Better to be overpowered than underpowered.

I've been reading that someone has leaked that the PS3 has a good chance of being around $425. I don't know how much that is in pounds though...so I may be saving up for a looooong time...

Yes overpowered is a good thing. I'm liking the lineup and games coming to PS3. I definately gonna get GT5 and FFXII when they come out.

Don't forget Metal Gear Solid 4. So many awsome games scheduled to come out when the PS3 is released, it's sweet.

I wonder if they'll do package deals...PS3 +4 games for yada much...PS3 +6 games for other yada much...if they do, I wonder which games it'll be...

Probably be Sports packs, or action packs or something. Just search gamestop for what packs they have for the ps2 and I'm sure the ps3 packs will be similar.
