You know what's pathetic? The fact that Bush can go and talk about how bad the Iraqi's or Afghani's are when it comes to how they act, but yet we have people looting, raping and possibly even killing people and yet they say nothing about how bad these people are, hurricane or not. They are acting worse than the Iraqi's and Afghani's are and they still have way more than them.

Not that I 100% disagree with you, but I thought I had to share my thoughts. Bush has never called Iraqis backwards people, atleast not on TV. He has called terrorists lowlife miscreants, or whatever four letter word he uses to describe them. It's usually not the country, it's individuals. For every looter, there is someone who actually has morals and a conscience. You never see those people, because they don't make the news.

On the other hand, most of the people are probably looting for needed supplies. Not only that, but the merchandise that people are looting is probably ruined and insured through the company anyways, so letting it go to waste is just as wrong as not taking it.

Insurance or not, taking anything you don't need should get you shot.

They are reaping the rewards of someone elses work. They did nothing yet they get something, while someone else did something and in return gets nothing.
