A Ninja is just someone who is in the japanese military...just like a Ranger their honor is really based off of influences outside of their discretion.

From being an Ex-Nin's trainee for 2 years, and my friend who is a Ranger in the U.S army...He doesn't choose what he does...He's a hound of a general and nothing more, just like Ninja are hounds of Japanese generals.
