They're relatively cheap now-a-days and if you really wanted to go you could, the only stipulations now that it is 2008 is you will need to have a passport to leave and enter the country, which sucks.

As well as needing a passport (which is valid for like 10 years or something) the cost of the cruise can sting a little bit, as well. If you go to one of those last minute cruise ticket websites you can get deals under $200 a person for a 4day 3 night cruise, which is amazing considering you get free breakfast/lunch/dinner with some drinks included.. etc and being able to visit somewhere you've never seen before...

All in-all, if you spend correctly, including to get where your port is located, you can go for under $400 a person including your passport (for the first time around).. which isn't that bad, you'll never forget these times as long as your alive.

Here's a few snapshots from the boat when we pulled into Honduras..

Dude, in honduras we took a bus tour across the whole area, (about 15 mile trip in a minivan).. $10 a person and we stopped at a giant Lizard farm, among other things, got lots and lots of beautiful pictures and had some decent dinner in a country that isn't hailed much higher than any shithole you'd ever go to visit, beautiful place.
