I don't necessarily consider it a waste. I learned a lot from it. Mostly in the area of dealing with other people. As for math, I hated it.

It's just a continuation of middle school in the social learning aspect, imo.

Hey WKKF, were you in advanced classes for math in high school?
Because I was in Geometry in 9th, and it was a real pain.

Yeah i suppose for everyone else it would be. For me, though, I was homeschooled until my freshman year of highschool so, I had never dealt with other people before then.

Ah okay. Well, it's good to get some of it out of the way before college. If you're living in a dorm and for the first time being around normal peers then you'll probably go buck wild and ruin your life. Or perhaps you'll be a recluse and socially awkward for the rest of your life .

yeah, that would be a shame. I don't think i'm going to be living in a dorm though. There's a good college only about 20 or so minutes from my home, so, i figure i shouldnt pay for rent if i don't have to.

Sure, however, you won't fully be out of the nest until you move away. But that'll happen soon enough. I'd go for saving $$.
