The whole definition of a good UI is a UI which is simple and easy to use from the word "go". If it takes people a while to get used to it, then there's less chance that they'll come back and actually learn how to use it, in which case the company who created the product will lose a lot of money. A UI can make or break a program. Surely you know this?
