You know the more people go to these news sites and click on these links, the more hits they get, the more the news site thinks that people give a shit about the catholic church. This in turn results in more reporting, and subsequently more attention given to the catholic church. I know it's tempting, but next time just don't click the link man. It's always the same story and has been for years - and really it's just common fucking sense - if you don't want your child molested don't send them to catholic school just like you wouldn't let them spend the night at Michael Jackson's house.

I don't see how this is a bad thing. When the "attention" is negative, as it is, I think the more exposure there is the better. The only way it can change is if people know about it and are outraged enough to change it.
