Do something about the chat forum. People take advantage of the ability to spam in there. Do something about the moronic members that do nothing but annoy people when they don't even know they're doing it. What the hell is th point of just copying what someone else says......i can read his post and get the point you know.

Make bans more frequent as to show that Zelaron actually enforces the rules.

Reiteration: Fix up the damn rules of the Chat Forum, so not everyone thinks of it as the Spam Forum.

Mods need more responsibility:
- They need to set better examples.
- They need to be more strict.
- Maybe a rule should be that mods need to make at least 1 or so good, pertinent, stimulating threads a week in their forum to keep it interesting.
- Etc...

Also... how about we get on the appointing of mods better... if I'm not mistaken, the General Gaming Forum is still without a mod.

The problem isn't people spamming the chat forum its people spamming pretty much every other also i think a few new forums wouldn't hurt either and be carefull messing with the chat forum is like messing with the plumbing(if you break it everyone will shit somewhere else). Oh and ganga i think your point is one of these

Remove the shit about lion-o, panthor, and the other pointless shit, then ban the members that posted it.

You dont ban long term members. Banning someone for one or two spam posts is not worth the next 50 good posts he might make that month. Unless their spam is as much as their regular posting then I dont see why we should ban unless we have a meeting with them and then they still refuse. You ban too many people and people will complain that "The forum is dead" "No body ever posts". Not that many interesting things happen and we dont exactly have a lot of members to post a lot of interesting threads (yet?). There are two kinds of spam, The kind of spam that just says "F*** you" or 1 word posts those should be deleted, but posts that say "So hows your day? I went to the store and bought some milk... It was pretty fun" might be able to stay in the chat forum. Personally I would visit here a whole lot less if the amount of topics cut down by like 40%, I read spam and if its funny then It helps by making me wanna visit more. Gah, It depends on the spam.

Its not a matter of banning older, dedicated members, its a matter of enforcing the rules. If they get banned for 1-2 days for too much spamming, then they will cut it down a little when they get back, or else the ban will be longer next time. Spam is fine, but in moderation.

I agree with u and I got an idea, what if when u ban some1, u make a thread which says who's banned, reason and for how long so that's some kind of warning to other members so that they wont think of doing the same thing as the banned person.

Also maybe send a pm to all members again explaining problems about spamming and explain some rules.

Come on in and to your regular spamming and chatting. You can discuss anything here with the reason to keep the spam off the other forums. This forum might have a lot of completely useless or bizarre content, but that is a part of the fun.

this is description of the chat forum, obviously the fun part is gone for many ppl...so maybe change this a bit first, that could at least help vs new members

another thing u could do is make an important thread about rules in chat forum and explain that spamming is allowed TO A CERTAIN EXTEND and should not be the main point of a thread

It's a shame that if good members are leaving because those few others just fuck up everything

this is just my view on it and all I have to say (for now, maybe some more later)

Alots fourm are empty with no post at last 30 days. We need to do something about that.

I don't think people spam in there for post count, not many people give a damn about post count, I think they do it because they can and they know it pisses people off.
