Alucard versus Chakan

Out of sheer and utter boredom, I have come up with the ultimate death match including the two most bad ass video game characters. It occurs to me that a lot of you indeed do not play great video games (games not surrounded by hype) but that's okay. The reason why I mentioned that is because I'm just hoping you all know who the aforementioned video game characters are.

Anywho, IGN's video game character battle sucked. They included a lot of crappy characters, and the ones that are truly bad ass didn't make the cut at all. So without further ado, who do you think would win? Alucard, or Chakan.

You should all know of Alucard from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on the Sony Playstation. Half vampire and half human, Alucard is the son of all-around bad ass vampire of all vampires, Dracula.

Weapons and power: Alucard wields himself with a sword. doesn't really matter what kind, he has proved time and time again that he is a bad ass whether he is handling his most elite ancient powered sword, or just some water-logged dagger. He also has plenty of magic spells, courtesy of his half vampire side.

Chakan the Forever Man, was brought to us in a game of the same name on the Sega Genesis. In this game Chakan was cursed with the power of never being able to die or perish. He goes on an endless quest to absurdly dangerous realms, finding the bad asses, of the most elite bad asses, in hopes of getting his ass kicked and being able to die and rid himself of his curse.

Weapons and power: Chakan also proves that he is an all around bad ass yet manages to stick with his dual katana technique. Chakan was never much on the magic side being that his katanas always proved to be enough.

Either of the opponents have very much in common. In "Chakan: The Forever Man" (which can also be seen in the comic) Chakan has a dispute with Death, and after a match which required little to no sweat at all, he wins. Alucard too, has had a fight with Death in the corridors of Dracula's castle, and he has also won. Chakan seeks death, yet no one is powerful enough to take him out, Alucard seeks to destroy evil, yet I can see how he wouldn't fret to take out Chakan if he were begged enough.

I'm almost too bored to care anymore. Hopefully you all know of either characters, and then you'll be able to truly give your opinion. Which won't suck if you've played either of these games.

So, who would win in an all out, bad ass fight of the greats? Son of Dracula: Alucard, or The Cursed Forever Man: Chakan?

Chakan would win, since he can't die, though Alucard is cooler.

Okay, it seems that this thread isn't going to go anywhere, so if you can't comment about the match that I thought would be bad ass, name what video game characters you think could possibly take out Alucard, Chakan, and Magus for that matter. Then I'll just reply to your post and tell you why you're wrong.

Lavos got owned by Magus in the end. And in Symphony of the Night, Alucard took on a lot more powerful enemies than Lavos. Obviously due to Lavos power to have DNA of all living things would clearly make him a bad ass. However if this were indeed true, Chrono Trigger would have been unbeatable. Seems logical, but for some reason I don't see Lavos as an elgible opponent being that he already got owned by one of the aforementioned competitors.

Raistlin Majere from Dragonlance books would pwn all (actually a friend and I already had a conversation about Raistlin pwning Magus),
but if we must stick with games, I would say.....
Pac Man or...
Medieval Bob from the Zelaron RPG.

Though they are undead, they're not ghost. What you don't realize is Pac Man can only eat ghost, and that's when he's in "power-pellet" mode. Even if he could devour Alucard, he's way too fast for Pac Man. He'd just keep back stepping, and then stap Pac Man in the head when he ran out of juice.

I was thinking more on console video game characters because I don't play computer games for shit.

I would have said Alucard, considering I've never heard of "Chakan" (man, what a fruity name). But, then you had to throw in the Magus option. Magus wouldn't even have to show up to pummel the other two into goo. Magus destroys everyone.

I can't believe you guys haven't played Chakan. Oh wait, I can. No one here is about old school gaming. I would tell you to play it, but I guarantee that you'll hate the game. It's basically about a guy (Chakan) that has been cursed and can not die. So you travel through different realms looking for the most powerful evils in hope of them killing him. They were going to make a bad bad bad ass sequel on Dreamcast but it got canned when the Dreamcast empire began to crumble. Either way, I guess Alucard versus Magus would be the better fight. Magus definitely has a much larger repertoire of magic, and it's definitely more powerful. Still, something is telling me Magus would lose. Look at all the shit Alucard went through. I think first there would have to be a preliminary fight. Magus versus Death. If Magus beat Death, then he'd go up against Alucard.
