I can never connect

Anyone know why when i try to connect to Counter Strike I always fail. It will say like 90 seconds remaining, but when it goes down to 0 I still can not connect. Do I not have a fast enough internet or something?

i can connect it just takes awile after it says server #39093 or whatever, just go take a piss then come back and you should be connected btw whats your internet connect/isp?

Yeah it could be your comp too, running slow so it takes a long time.

I connect around 52kbps and i use aol. That probably is the problem. Or I figured I dont have enought RAM, but 123mb shouldnt be that bad.

Ya, get cable its much more reliable and AOL is just to damn expensive for a dial-up service. I have 728 mb ram, I think that ram helps alot in online gaming where quick response is a big factor.

Yeah cable > 56k by far, I dont think I could live with 56k after being on cable.

Have you tried using gamespy? That usually will help, and it supports alot of other games too. www.gamespyarcade.com, and you dont have to register it.
