question about repairing ps2

my ps2 fell the other day and now it works for a few minutes and then shuts off. Does anyone know whats wrong and how to repair it?

Probably take it to some gaming store see what they could do or call the PS2 people, or say screw it and sell it to someone for $$$ and then buy a new one~ Thats just my opinion though I don't know much about fixing game systems

Does the fan still sound normal? I don't know if PS2's have an internal sensor that shuts it off if it starts to overheat or what.

Otherwise, the power supply inside is probably messed up. Don't stick a screwdriver into the power supply :P
