Background information:
In my town right now there is this thing called Bevarian Blast (a German festival), which is basically just live music, food, and beer. That's all you should need to know.

The Story:
I get up at 9, and on my way to work, I see a sign that was upside down. Now this wasn't one of those small signs, this was a big highway sign pointing out which highways led to what. I thought it was for sure a drunk driver, but apparently it was the torrential wind from the storm on Wednesday. (Quite the storm, it was pitch black at 9 AM and it's July!!!).

Alright, work was fine, but long. I have nothing to do in the evening, so I have to make my own plans. I go hang out with people for awhile, but we can't really find anything to do. I went cruising with a friend between the hours of 10PM and Midnight, and in that timespan I counted 24 instances of a cop pulling someone over. It was like a DUI and DWI fest. We were going on a one-way close to the Bevarian Blast, and this older person makes a real sharp turn, and now she is about 4 car lengths away from us, and immediately a copper pulls her over, after she nearly misses us. I'm glad that it was a two-lane, otherwise my friend's nice blue truck would have been transformed into a rainbow of disastrous colors from all the parked cars.

Road Rage:
We got hit with water balloons, beer cans, and someone's underwear (wierd) every half-hour.

I thought it was funny how many people I saw get pulled over that night, but others of you may not find it as interesting. Drunk people are funny, but really dangerous.

Well, before we almost got hit on that one-way, a few middle-age ladies were yelling innuendos at us, and one tried to get into the truck while it was moving. That's when we decided to leave and next thing we know it a car is coming at us.

Heh heh.

You think that's a lot of people being pulled over? Get to France during the peak of the Summer Holiday's and all you'll see is French Cops pulling over EVERY single car that's English. Every last one.

They actually wait on the road sides waiting for you. Even if you've done nothing wrong.

I thought that this was pretty significant considering that I live in a town of about 14,000.

Wow!!

So there's a good chance that you'll know a couple of those pulled over.

I'm sure I'll hear about some people, and read about it in the paper. One of my friends (age 16) was in his truck behind a cop, and the cop did a U-turn and flipped his lights on. He was going the speed limit and everything, but the cop came up and thought he had been drinking. He didn't get anything, and I'm wondering if the police were just being ambitious pulling random people over, along with the drunk ones.

It's always possible. If there's heavy drinking going on, then the cops will pull over anyone they think is being suspicious. Better to be safe than sorry.

Drunk people are the best. Take the Dragoons as an example, we rock.
