No BGM playback in RM2k3

Hey, it's been a while - I was messing around with RM2k3, and the midis worked fine, and now, a day later, all of a sudden, they don't work. I can play the Midis just fine through Windows Media, but for whatever reason, they don't work in the program. The volume is up on the music player, as well. There have been similar problems in the past here, but usually those people couldn't play Midis on their computer at all. Just wondering if you guys knew what could be the case. Any help would be appreciated!
