Hmmm, 98. I don't know much about 98, sorry. I managed to go from 95 to ME to XP, missing it out completely.

Same OS. Same problem.
I think in the end the guy gave up on MIDIs and uyed mp3's for his sounds instead.
If you can't get an answer here, then it might be worth going to a specialised forum that would have members who know how to specifically sort out the problem.
And I've just read that back and realised how little sense it makes.
I shudder to think what I've done to my Biology homework.
