Rune upgrades !!!

One of the new recipes to be added in 1.10 for the Horadric Cube in Diablo II [ladder and open chars] will allow Runes to be upgraded. An example is demonstrated in a couple of shots released by Blizzard. Three Jah Runes, plus a Flawless Ruby will result in one Cham Rune. Thanks to Pilsner, MezzoExplodo, Nathan Barnard, Thytar, Mash and Balin76 - hate to miss anyone for the heads up on this.

would it be worth it to take 3x jah runes just to make 1 cham i mean 3x jahs will get u more chams in a trade most likely they just probably wont be legit

Probably not but, I think anything below Ist would be worth it, hell I have enough stashed runes to make 50 Ist`s if this so-called patch ever comes out.

But it will worth it if it works for...say, Mal, Gul, and other crappy higher runes.

It should be work for every single runes.

hopefully so then newbs culd get a bunch of shitty runes and upgrade em till their godly

That would definately help rune words a lot.. but... it would take 1,853,020,188,851,841 (that's 1853 Trillion) El runes to make a Zod.

But still very useful. People will start saving runes even they are low. So, when patch 1.10 come out REMEBER TO SAVE ANY RUNES

Blizzard: Yes, thanks to the new Horadric Cube recipes. Also, the Hellforge quest now drops better runes, the Countess drops better runes, and the rune drops themselves have been improved to be more likely to drop better runes.

Well the ladder chars will be "integrated" into the normal realms after the season, whatever the hell that means..

I don't think many people will happy with that.

With this new recipe maybe blizzard would make even the most easy runes to get a little more drop less likely.

Three Jah Runes, plus a Flawless Ruby will result in one Cham Rune. So before calling other dumb make sure you know what your talking about.

3 rune give next rune only works using runes 1-9 (El, Eld, Tir, Nef, Eth, Ith, Tal, Ral, Ort) So 3 Ort => 1 Thul, but 3 Thul does not make an Amn.
